Jayakrd: We have not received a Russian request to extradite Ain Issa
Ali Al-Ahmad (Berlin)
The Vice-Presidency of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Badran Jayakard, denied in a statement to “Syria Files” that any Russian request had been received about the surrender of Ain Issa city to the Syrian army, accusing Turkey of taking advantage of regional and international conditions to expand its influence geographically in Syria.
On the endeavors of a political solution in Syria at the internal, regional and international levels, Jiakred emphasized that dialogue is a strategic principle for the “Autonomous Administration”, and it is the basis for the solution, agreement and national Syrian understanding, continuing by saying: “We are open to all national efforts and endeavors and we support peaceful change and national dialogue in all. Energy”.
On the Cairo platform, he indicated that in the short term, meetings for the platform will not be held as a result of foreign political interference and internal disputes within the group that impede this path.
He pointed out that “only a meeting was held between a group of members of the platform and not everyone was invited, so we hope that these fragmented cases will be overcome and work according to a complete consensus among its members so that there is room and opportunity prepared to expand and activate its role with the participation of everyone.” A broad range of opposition blocs and groups should participate in the “Autonomous Administration” effectively in international platforms and forums concerned with the Syrian political solution.
