The Israeli army captures a shepherd during an ambush on the Syrian border

“The IDF forces arrested a shepherd who had penetrated the border from Syria, during an ambush on the Syrian border,” said the Israeli army spokesman, Avichai Adraei.

Adraei added on Twitter: “During an ambush on the Syrian border, the IDF arrested a shepherd who intentionally infiltrated the borders from Syria into Israeli territory,” noting that “the shepherd was transferred to the security forces for investigation.”

The Israeli army spokesman affirmed: “The IDF will not allow any attempt to violate the sovereignty of the State of Israel.”
