Efforts of “Tahrir al-Sham” to remove it from the lists of “terrorism”

The Guardians of Religion Organization, which pledges allegiance to al-Qaeda in Syria, is in a state of weakness and fragility, after it lost most of its cadres, its positions, and the state of the disintegrating war against it, in which Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham succeeded in it, and followed several methods in this war, the most important of which is the arrest and release of prominent leaders of the first row of the organization Later under several conditions that suit her.
On Saturday, the 12th of this month, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham released the legitimate and security guard of the “Guardians of Religion” organization, “Abu Abdullah al-Darawi” after a detention that lasted for more than 50 days. On October 26, it released the prominent leader, Abu Omar Minhaj, “four months after his arrest.
Abbas Sharifa, a researcher in jihadist groups’ affairs, said in his interview with “Syria Files” that almost no opponent of “Tahrir al-Sham” is released except as part of a deal, and perhaps this deal belongs to “Darawi” alone, not to the “Guardians of Religion” organization and usually stipulates “Tahrir al-Sham” should not be active against it, especially through legal education, as “Al-Darawi” is a legitimate figure as well.
It is possible to link the release of “Al-Darawi” and the arrest of two leaders of the second row in the “guards” about a week ago, according to the researcher in the affairs of jihadist groups, Orabi Abd al-Hayy Orabi as one of the conditions imposed on any person whose status is settled, by indicating the rest of the two trustees. The Commission has not yet arrested them and is searching for them.
