Iran hides missile developing experts in Damascus over Israeli strike fears – Exclusive

(Syria Files- Exclusive)- Iran has evacuated a number of scientific experts from the Al-Safira district in northern Aleppo province to Damascus, such a rapid decision made  over fears of imminent Israeli airstrikes, special source told Syria Files Sunday.

A cargo aircraft took off on Saturday from the scientific research center, known as Center 605, in Al-Safira in the southern countryside of Aleppo, towards the Syrian capital, loaded with military equipment and a number of Iranian experts, according to Syria Files source.

The work of Iranian experts inside the defense laboratories in Center 605 is focusing on developing missile weapons and increasing their effectiveness, the source added.

Iran has already begun to reduce the number of its officers and experts working in research centers in Aleppo after repeated Israeli military attacks that claimed the lives of dozens of Iranian personnel and military experts.

Iran has also withdrawn militants and experts from Aleppo countryside towards the city of Al-Mayadeen in the southern countryside of Deir Ezzor province.

ImageSat, an Israeli intelligence collection asset, has previously posted satellite photos on its Twitter account, showing the aftermath of Israeli airstrikes on a storehouse producing missiles in the Al-Safira area.

The strikes that took place on September 10 in Al-Safira complex have completely reduced two buildings to rubble.
